We collaborated with Vertex Pharmaceuticals to come up with a way to combine specific 3D renderings of chemical structures into photographs depicting “everyday life” scenarios.
The challenge for this photo was to make a believable pottery sculpture from a single, specific molecular model. We modeled the overall structure to look very organic, as if shaped by hand, and then rendered it to look like it was ready for firing.
These images are being used in a print campaign and also appear on the
Vertex website.
