Some look & feel explorations we made for an animation project that takes a closer look at adenoviral vector technology and the advancements being made in gene therapy.
Our client wanted to begin their story with a very accurate and clear view of the virion structure and its outer components.
We constructed and assembled the structure — from the icosahedral capsid to other principal components including the penton bases, the hexons, and fibers — by working with cryo-electron microscopic and crystallographic data.
Adenoviruses have been studied intensively for over 50 years as models of virus-cell interactions.
