We collaborated with Vertex Pharmaceuticals to come up with a way to combine specific 3D renderings of chemical structures into photographs depicting “everyday life” scenarios.
The challenge for this photo was to make believable flower structures from a single specific molecular model. We solved that by imitating nature and laying out the molecule in certain patterns. This way, we were able to achieve a flower-like shape, but still maintain a view of the single structures.
These images are being used in a print campaign and also appear on the
Vertex website.
