St. Jude Medical wanted to show features of their novel Cardiac Ablation System and demonstrate how the key components of the system function.
The first segment of the animation shows the placement of the sizer component. This segment is followed by a scene showing the placement of the innovative UltraCinch device. The UltraCinch “enables the creation of a uniform, continuous lesion (also known as the box lesion) in a single step around all four pulmonary veins during cardiac ablation.”
The real advantage of showing the components and their function in 3D is that it allows us to move the camera virtually anywhere in space, providing the viewer with rarely-seen and visually-dynamic vantage points.
